🐾 Supplies Are Running Low!

As the colder weather sets in, countless outdoor pets in our community will struggle to survive freezing temperatures, harsh winds, and icy conditions. Many have nowhere warm to go, and their owners are doing their best with limited resources. This winter, we need your help to make sure every animal has a safe, warm, and dry place to rest.

Last winter, we distributed over 60 dog houses to local families in need thanks to funds from the LOR Foundation. We want to be able to continue to help keep outdoor animals warm again this winter but sadly, our supplies are running low.

🐕‍ Donate now to help us provide necessary supplies for outdoor pets:

• Straw:
Straw is one of the best insulators for outdoor shelters. It provides warmth, absorbs moisture, and helps keep animals dry and comfortable inside their igloos or dog houses. Blankets alone can trap moisture — but straw stays warm even when it’s cold and damp outside.

• Igloos or Dog Houses:
A weather-resistant shelter provides critical protection from snow, rain, and wind. An igloo or sturdy dog house gives outdoor pets a secure place to rest, keeping them safe and sheltered from the elements.

• Blankets:
Used outside the igloo or dog house, blankets add an extra layer of warmth and protection from the cold ground.

• Heated Water Bowls:
Water can freeze in just minutes during subzero temperatures, leaving animals without access to something essential for survival. Heated bowls keep water from freezing, ensuring that every pet has fresh, drinkable water — because snow and ice are not replacements!

• Food:
In cold weather, animals burn extra calories just to maintain body heat. They need more food — and more frequent meals — to stay warm and healthy.

Let’s come together as a community to show compassion for our four-legged friends who depend on us. Together, we can make sure that no pet is left shivering in the cold.

Because no animal should have to face winter alone — help us Keep Them Warm.
