The dog days of summer are living up to their name—and not in a good way. The play yards at Lander Pet Connection are all gravel with zero shade, and in the blazing afternoon sun, they become too hot for paws and too dangerous for play.
That means our dogs—many of whom already spend much of their time in their kennels—lose precious opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and socialization during the hottest hours of the day.
We’re on a mission to change that.
