Lander Pet Connection needs your support!
As 2024 wraps up, we're beyond grateful for the year’s hard work, long days, and heartfelt moments that led to brighter futures for hundreds of animals. Every single rescue and adoption shows the depth of compassion in Fremont County and the communities around us. Here’s a look at what you helped us accomplish:
Lander Strays and Surrenders – 169 animals arrived at our doors with unique stories but shared the same hope for a loving family.
Reservation Strays and Surrenders – 155 animals found a safe haven here, ready to leave behind challenging conditions and embrace a brighter future.
Riverton Strays and Surrenders – 48 animals came to us seeking refuge, now full of life and prepared for new beginnings.
Hudson Strays and Surrenders – 21 animals found their way to us, each one deserving of care and a place to call home.
At our 2024 microchip clinic we chipped 31 pets, ensuring families can be reunited so much easier. We’ve seen our animals find homes through out-of-county adoptions (44 animals), in-state (57) and out-of-state (100) transfers, and 131 adoptions in Lander alone. Fremont County families stepped up in a big way, adopting 71 of our animals.
Your support has powered an average stay of just 23 days, proving that with enough love and community backing, we can make real, lasting changes quickly. But we need your help to keep going! With each donation, we can make 2025 even more impactful.
With each gift, you become part of this journey. Let’s create more happy reunions, find more homes, and make Fremont County a safer place for every dog and cat waiting for a fresh start.
Join us in bringing more animals home, where they belong.
